Lisa Padden is the founder and principal of Big Toe Consulting. She is a former Fortune 500 Organization Development / Human Resources executive who spent her corporate career helping organizations, teams, and individuals be more effective. She has worked in multiple industries with global reach, including energy, technology, wholesale distribution, and healthcare. Clients have also included associations, non-profits, and municipalities.
Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina, and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia. She also earned a certificate in Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University.

I came to rely on Lisa over several years as an extension of our HR team. She increased our bandwidth and capabilities around culture and engagement, talent management, and leadership development.
Lisa played a significant role in helping us launch our new Values and integrate them into our culture. The combination of tools and learning activities she designed not only helped individual employees and teams incorporate Values-based behavior change into their day-to-day work, but helped us to create stronger managers who could lead their teams through the cultural change.
Through her work with the HR team, Lisa also developed trusted relationships with key leaders in the organization, taking on department-specific Values assessment/integration projects that our small HR team did not have the bandwidth to support.
Lisa supported us in analyzing our employee engagement data and created executive-level presentations that focused our leaders on key themes and potential priorities. She designed and facilitated employee engagement action planning working sessions for our senior leaders which were very well-received. These sessions guided our leaders to draft targeted action plans created with insights from data analysis and peer discussion.
In addition culture and engagement projects, Lisa designed and led informal manager learning sessions, created our leadership competency model for use in 360 assessment and succession planning, and designed and facilitated content for our high potential program.
